Soya Oil
Pure soya bean oil is saturated fat (like the sunflower and canola blended oil). Compared to both the sunflower and canola blended oil, it is a cheaper option. It can however at times give a slight metallic taste to food, but in general it is a good oil.
Sunflower Oil
ZabbSun is a 100% pure triple refined sunflower oil. It is our flagship range oil product. It comes in both 25L and 20L drums. Pure sunflower oil contains low level of saturated fats, is high in vitamin E and can be used low-to-extremely-high-tempurature cooking. It is very versatile oil and ideal for baking, cooking to deep-frying.
Palm Oil
ZabbPalm oil is high in saturated fats, because it starts solidifying at about 16 degree, it is reffered to as a fat in layman's terms. It is however a great deep-frying oil and chicken franchises especially prefer palm oil for a juicer finish, it is usually the cheaper oil in the South African market and a great cost-saving product for customers in the food industry.
Blended Oil
ZabbBlend is a blend of 50% sunflower oil and 50% soya oil. It is most of the times an ideal cheaper alternative to pure sunflower oil. It also comes in both 25L and 20L drums. This oil is also a versatile oil and well-suited for deep-frying application. The oil is blended at refinery level.
Zabbs Biodiesel
Biodiesel is a clean burning diesel replacement fuel made from natural, renewable sources such as any agricultural seed oil, recycled grease, etc. Biodiesel contains no petroleum, but can be blended at any level with petroleum diesel to create a biodiesel blend. Just like petroleum diesel, biodiesel can be used in any unmodified diesel engine. Biodiesel emits 80% fewer hydrocarbons, 60% less CO2 and 50% less particulate matter than petroleum diesel.

Used cooking oil(UCO)/Waste vegetable oil(WVO)
Zabbs Distribution buys and collects used/wasted cooking oil. Waste oils are either converted into biodiesel or filtered and supplied in bulk to other factories for their production purposes. Products such as boiler fuels and soaps are produced from waste oil.
We collect : 20 l, 25 l , 210 l,
and 1000 l containers of
waste cooking oil from various sites in the Western Cape.
